No problem dumping temporary internet files. They are merely a history of sites you have visited.

From IE, click Tools, Internet Options
delete cookies
delete files (offline files)
clear history (set days to save to 0 if you want)

Note that if you do not allow cookies, some sites will not open. Others may open and allow you to copy graphics, but when you reopen the file - the graphics become red X's.

It is a choice we have to make. In Tools, Internet Options, Privacy tab, I have mine set to medium - which allows some cookies. This has been serving me just fine.

You can use Disk Cleanup to delete all that you dont need

but they delete themselves after a while still, you'll notice you dont see files from webpages you visited from like january or june, some time ago?

We don't ebcouraged to delete system foldes and files.

You need to use Disk Cleanup to clean your PC with unnecessary files.

To open Disk Cleanup, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.
