I think you mean Who are two blacks that assisted in the fight against slavery? Fredrick Douglas and Harriet Tubman. Fredrick Douglas wrote a narrative of the life of a slave. in the book he writes as much as he knows of his autobiography. because of the way that slaves were treated there were many gaps in his story that he was not able to write about.the book opened the eyes of the ignorant and helped people to realize that slavery was not ever going to be a good thing. Harriet Tubman was a runaway slave who worked the Underground railroad helping many slaves escape to the North.

i was under the impression that governments ended slavery.
there are/was lots of activists who helped to push the government into the abolition of slavery. FL
