When you buy a foundation always try to find one which one tone darker than your skin. It helps to cover all uneven skin tones. If you don't like to change the colour you use at the moment you can apply good concealer on you cheeks under eye area and places (acne spots, blemishes) where darker than the normal tone. When you buy concealer be careful to buy one tone lighter than you skin. If you done the job well you will notice an uneven skin tone.
Actually I have no idea about you weather condition but I can say if it is sweating you and make your skin oily you can use compact powder to get the mat finish.
Always invest good cosmetic which are well known for their brilliant skill of making the job well. And you have to remember everyone have good features only thing is when you are applying makeup you have to carefully make them appear and the weakest points disappear.

Hope you will have a good time with your new makeup tip. Have a nice time.

Well, I have had a hard time finding foundations period! Stress and loss of sleep has caused my skin to not be in the most perfect condition (neither does the drastic changes in weather)!!! But I started using Mac makeup. I get it from Belk. It has been very beneficial and offers great coverage. Its kinda expensive but I love it. Ive worn makup since i was in middle school and this Mac makeup line has to be the best! The powders are light, offer great coverage, and blends well. The only disadvantage: let it set before touching your face and base it with a good lotion. Niki g has a great idea!!!

Depending on your skintone, lighter tones should match foundation on the jawlines. Darker tones should match a foundation to their cheek color since women of color tend to be lighter in the center of their faces and darker closer to the hairline. Also, opt for a lighter coverage foundation and apply with either a sponge or a brush. You'll get a smoother coverage and more professional finish

Well i use Maybelline's pure makeup. works great fopr any skin type.
the pure foundation is 50% wtaerbased and oil free. wont clog pores. and it wont cause breakouts. has long lasting coverage. has vitE, alow, chamomile to soothe skin. its sooo skin friendly. i LOVE this product. my classmates and shcoolmates have commented me and siad i look blooming. :) its a gel/liquid foundation by the way. full coverage and you can ask a saleslady at the department store to help you find a shade that matches your skintone.

after you apply the foundation, you can use the pure concealer to cover those scars or whatever. but the foundation can give good coverage already. but to be sure about the coverage, use the concealer also.

after concealing, touch up with the pure powder. that also includes aloe, chamomile, and vitE to soothe skin. just pat lightly onto your face. whenever you need to retouch, just use the powder. no need to apply foundation again and again. i love maybelline's puremakeup!!!!

It's best to go to a cosmetic counter, they will best match your skin. If your skin differs in certain areas, cheek vs jawline you'll have to find a complimentary color, but the same tone. Lauder has a great one that has med/ full coverage and doesn't rub off on your clothes. Clinique is cool too.

I was told to try the foundation at the base of your jaw for it to closely match your neck to look natural. You should go to a makeup counter, they will help you find the right color as they have a large variety to work with. Good Luck!!!
