St. John's Wort is a tranquilizing herb, and it should help you winding down and sleeping properly. However it is a strong herb and can cause exactly the opposite which would be depression.

From what I know of it, St John's Wort is normally used an an a natural form of antii-depressant. For people who suffer with a mental health condition, St John's wort is not recommended without first consulting your doctor or psychiatrisit.

St John's Wort is also known as goat weed, amber, Johnswort, and Klamath. The tops and the flowers are used in medicine.Medical properties are aromatic, nervine, astringent, resolvent, sedative, diuretic and vulnerary. Powerful as a blood purifier. Very good for tumours and boils, diarrhea, dysentery, correcting irregular menstruation, wounds, ulcers, old sores and for many other ailments.

It lightens your spirits,mood !
Taken in too larger doses can be a depressant !
Can also be addictive to some people,should be taken in moderation and not for too long !

always consult your gp before using it thats for sure it reacts with some drugs and becomes a killer
