That makes him a victim of abuse and he needs to seek treatment by a professional counselor. The thoughts he is having might be triggered by something else going on his life(if its been that long, its doubtful that he's gay). Since rape, and this was rape, is a typically a loss of control and a feeling of powerlessness with sex being the weapon used against the victim, its possible that something in his life has triggered these same feelings. Are you feeling powerless in a relationship or at work? Seek help to get these feelings out and resolved. While you were a victim and you didn't do anything wrong, you are now an adult and have a responsibility to yourself to get some help coping. Good luck to you.

i think it would be the trauma speaking. i do not believe that the boy would really want to do something that he had once be forced to do. i mean, rape victims remain scarred for years, and cringe at the idea of touching a member of the opposite sex.
but i suppose, since this is a hypothetical example, that the young man was not MADE bi or gay. i think it would have to come from deeper inside. maybe he was confused at the time, but chances are, he was bi or gay to begin with.

If he has ROMANTIC feelings for men, he is gay. Wanting to re-live a traumatic event is not a matter of sexuality, but delayed emotional response due to unresolved issues. Rape is not an issue of sexuality, but power.

I can't answer your question because I don't know who you are referring to - I've never met the guy you mention. No-one here is qualified to answer your question. Anyone who even tries to give you a definitive answer is just guessing. Tell the guy who was forced to perform oral sex to speak to a therapist.

It makes him sexually abused. And like all abuse it has ways of coming out if it is not dealt with. Having those thoughts does not make you gay or bi, it simply means your brain is trying to deal with or confront the abuse in the only way it knows how.

perhaps you should consider therapy or counseling for this issue...
a violent act like forced oral-genital contact can and will scar the victim, with professional therapy the wounds can begin to heal..
In middle age...as you body begins to loose its youthful vigor...these thoughts can manifest themselves...it does not mean that the person is gay or bi...
I would strongly urge you...or whom ever you are talking about...seek immediate care and services

I think that the past experience needs to be discussed with a professional. On the other hand like I have always told myself, listen to your heart. If its turns you on go for it, if it doesn't don't do it because society tells you to.

It makes him raped. The boy must deecide his own sexuality. That act was forced on him. He is not made anything. He is himself.

Some boys that are raped are gay when they grow up.
Some boys that are raped are straight when they grow up.

Some boys that were never raped are gay when they grow up.
Some boys that were never raped are straight when they grow up.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any connection.
