Yes, that's a no-brainer, but sometimes that freedom has to be trampled for the greater good...like yelling fire in a movie theater.

If there were censorship other than decency censorship, it would
interfere with our freedom of speech. Freedom of speech has never allowed slander or vile language.

No, it preserves it. Our freedom of speech comes with responsiblity and we must not allow our selves to abuse it. If what we say in our free speech is garbage it demeans that right, and our freedom of speech becomes less credible.
