i think that they are better matched than south africa would have been.it's going to be a very interesting game to watch!i'll lay my odds with the aussies though cricket is unpredictable!

The West Indies defeated Australia twice in ODIs
recently
once in a tri series Kuala Lumpur DFL cup
But Aussies won the final of the DFL cup.
and then in Champion's trophy league match
WI beat Australia.
Having said that,Australia is Australia,the most successful team
But WI team is progressing at a good rate and is in good form.
So both have equal chances

the west indies are very hard fighting team they have alredy beat the australians in the tournament once so why not they can beat the australians again?west indies are infact even better than the aussies they have also won won the champions trophy twice.so why not again?i have noo doubt that the west indies are going to get this trophy.they are the defending champions of the champions trophy!

Aussies are not invincible. Windies has shown that in group stages. In Mumbai conditions will play a big part. What will be the nature of the pitch in 2nd Innings will be the crucila factor. Windies have that squad which can beat Aussies if everything will go plan to plan. We have seen in past Aussies are tough opponents but in close matches they loose their way and start feeling the heat as in the group stage match with Windies. If windies will play with self belief it will be a fine tussle and who knows, we may see Lara again with that Trophy.

Yesterday's performance speaks volumes of the WI surge. But law of failures, favours Australia. Besides that Australians are coming up nicely. Glen is OK, Ponting is scoring, Symonds batted well, Martyn is good. It would be a nail biting finish. Still odds are against WI.

Yes they can!!! provided they play with the same spirite as they had played with thorughout the matches. But Autralia is not doubt the world best team.....they will have to work realy hard......as Autralia is not going to take them light as they had in their previous match against WI. that ,ll be a great match.... Autralia has plus point that they are very consistent while WI lacks this ability...they will have to show them on that day, that ,ll realy count.
