This question is really just an openion poll of different views; i just aim to find out about people and their sterotypes. I think that not all dems are bad, and i dont think that all GOP's are good, however I do think thaat both parties have great people in them, and I think that no one should be able to say that all dems are bad or good, the same for GOP's. I have great friendships with all kind of people so I'm very diverse. I was just going through reading comments of people saying All dem's are bad, and all GOP's are bad so that is why I raised the question. It is something to think about! Please dont be offended by this question.

Not really - I don't think many people are entirely bad or good, let alone entire groups (though certain folks certainly rise to the occasion). There are several corrupt figures in each party, but the majority of people on both sides genuinely care about America and want to see it live up to the greatness they believe it has. As an American citizen, I have deep respect for many members of the political party I do not belong to.

There are some good Dems, but they're getting pushed out, for example Sen Joe Lieberman. There are bad Reps. Pitchfork Pat, if he's still a Rep. The biggest difference is that in the Republican party, lunatics are on the fringe (Buchanon, Duke), In the Democratic party, lunatics are in the mainstream (Dean, Kerry).

I think MOST Democrats are bad, and I think MOST Republians are bad.
I always vote. I try everything I can think of to drive the winner under 50 percent, usually by voting third party.
In the presidential primaries, I will pretend to be a member of the party that has the best candidate and vote for that candidate in the Presidential primary. THEY NEVER GET NOMINATED. Never. Some pimp gets the nod, instead, with the fatcat backers watching in the smoke-glass skybox.
So I vote, I stay informed, but the parties are termite mounds.

I think that both parties people mean well. I don't believe all of the rhetoric being spouted off on either side. Usually the truth in political debates falls somewhere in the middle. The problem is that the message both sides have been pushing is that moderates are weak.
I don't think that elected officials are the charicatures that they are painted as. It's like saying that all atheletes are gun-toting wife beaters. Or businessmen are all crooks and have sex with Vietnamese prostitutes. It's not true, but people love that crap.

They all suck *** but i do like some more than others. I want to see a politician that gets really powerful by making all kinds of shitty deals with all these different corporations and then one day when he has amassed enough power just totally ***** those rich bastards and starts telling the truth and doing the right thing for the people. With no regard for his own personal safety. That would be cool. Hed be elected president if he could manage not to get killed.

In nearly 40 years of voting in every election, although a registered Democrat, I've voted for many . . . probably hundreds . . . of Republicans, as well as occasional Independents and third party candidates. However, after 6 years of lies, destruction of our nation's reputation, the shredding of our Constitution, treason against the United States and it's military, long term damage to our economy and our natural environment and on and on and on by the Bush administration, I can never again vote for anyone who would still call himself a Republican.
I don't believe it's still possible to be both an American and a Republican. To me, to vote for a Republican would be treason against the United States of America, a crime against humanity and an affront to God.
Can we stil be friends? Sure. I just can't vote to put them into public office ever again.

I'm a pre-natal Republican. If 2008 is Lieberman vs McCain, I'm hanging a chad next to Lieberman.
Only fools vote strictly party line...

There is no such thing as a politician who is 100% good, party doesn't matter. It just depends on the level of dishonesty. Most dems are too wishy washy. GOP can mess you over and you never even know it.

I don't think any human is all good or bad.
However, I tend to like the way the Democrats vote rather than the Republicans.
I'm not saying that anyone is a bad or good person--just that I think the Democrats practice better politics.
