That is absolutely a question for her pediatrician.

well that really depends on the size of your child.
my daughter was VERY small, just under 5 pounds, and would only manage 15 oz of formula a day at 6 months, even though that was half the recommended amount for her age. i was worried at first, but the doctor said it was fine. My son was over 9 pounds at birth and was drinking 28 oz of formula a day at 4 months of age!! if you are really concerned, check with a doctor to be certain.
Another factor may be weaning, has your daughter recently come off the breast? have you changed formulas at all?

My daughters doctor always told me she would rather see her get at least 32 oz of formula down and not worry so much about the baby food because the formula has everything the baby needs right now

When we had our kids the doctor said to let the child regulate the frequency while we regulated the amount. Don't give the child such an amount as to make them lethargic after each or any of the meals. Children by nature will let you know what appeals to them and what doesn't, sugar is a given so limit that and introduce them to a wide variety of foods.

Ask her pediatrician as each child has different needs and the charts are a guide line fo rthe ideal habits of childs eating.

I don't know the answer because I breastfeed but I just wanted to warn you not to listen to the guy who recommended regular cows milk - it is hell on a baby's stomach and digestive track! They shouldn't have it until they are a year old.
Good luck!

2.5 times their body weight. Remember that breast milk/formula is their main source of nutrition at this age.

Please, no cows milk, it can cause microscopic bleeding in the intestines, Not until the child is at least 1 year old. Our peds said at least 28 oz. a day, but please check with yours.
