it's okay considering you took 5 years off. but why so long?

you have potential. keep sketching and i guarantee you'll get so much better.

the same thing happened to me too. except i only stopped drawing for 2 years because i got discouraged. don't let that happen to you too.

remember that it takes practice to be good at anything and if you're really passionate about something, you should pursue it. and don't let anyone's opinion about your sketch make you feel bad.

trust me, you really do have potential.

my advice on your sketch: do it in pencil, not in pen. this way you can do more shading and if you mess up, u can always erase it.

overall, great job :)

i see the cat breathing. the body slightly moves as it breathes while it is sleeping with gummy candy all over it. am i crazy to see this movement or is it live cam. if it is not live cam, then maybe i still am not crazy, but have joind in spirit to the time that the picture was taken. this is very possible, but as i can recall, i have never personally done this before. by the way nice sketch too. keep practicing.

Its pretty good but instead of using sguigles use straight lines to add texture and round the face little....otherwise its pretty good! If i havent drawn in 5 years....i wouldnt know how to start! :P

Not bad. The cat looks a little more like a lion in your sketch.

If he/she's not going to eat those gummi bears, can I have em??

It's cute. Nothing against your sketch skills but i don't really like cats.
