Yes in some cases, but know in others . Yes in the case of people having too much deleted for no good reason other than a troll reporting them. No when comes to dealing with these trolls and getting rid of them and keeping them off. Everyone that opens an account here should have to endure having yahoo check their isp 's in order to prevent multiple accounts and cut down on trolls.

Yahoo! solutions is meant to be a instantly area Q&a area which permits human beings, not something more effective, not something a lot less, Yahoo! suggested that this isn't a social networking, chat, or buddy searching website, and that this isn't the position for that type of content cloth. i'm particular many human beings were indignant at getting violations on Y!A for what seems the stupidest motives, in spite of the indisputable fact that we as consumers do not own Y!A, we do not make the guidelines.

Probably not strict enough.

Kids read these questions and adults that also don't want to read silly questions or vulgar questions.

I'm very glad Yahoo has guidelines, but so many don't respect guidelines and others.

I have had both good and bad experiences with Yahoo. it's their company and they can do what they want with it. I know that the Bush administration has put pressure on several internet sites to clean up their act to protect kids from porn etc.

Yeah, I get several violations a day for answering questions just like I'm answering yours now. Funny, though, when I do answer with something that might not be appropriate, they very seldom bust me for that. I think they all live in Communist countries and get a kick out of violating our Constitutional rights!

Absolutely! And, it's because they have reduced the leniency by letting a more powerful software program loose on us! They even catch things missed weeks before!

I think that the reporting system isn't working as it should, questions that are harmless get deleted, while some really disgusting ones are left alone, no matter how often they are reported. It doesn't make any sense.

They seem to be selectively strict. They gave me a violation for posting a harmless (albeit stupid) question, but I have seen others' get away with posting racial slurs and harassing others.
