The ending (with the graveyard) makes me wonder whats on that hill now. The ending shows the evolution of the city, and the hill with the graves is now grown over. But is there really a grave there? who's is it?

They say the movie is a true story. I know the situation was real. But as for the charectors,,, dont know.

Its amazing how Hollywood takes real stories and switches them around.

My favorite example is "The Rookie" I have done some major research into this movie and story because it happened less then 200 miles from where i live.
Also my sister at one time dated Jimmy Morris when he worked in my town.

The basic story of the movie was fact. But, in my research I have discovered that there are so many things that were changed or added to it.

They do that alot with true stories.

Some are really close
Some arent.

Nominated for the Best Picture Oscar at the 2003 Academy Awards, director Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York brings to life 19th-century Manhattan's Five Points neighborhood. But what was it really like to live in what was once the world's most notorious slum? Check out this web site:

I remember reading that the movie was based on a true story but you know how Hollywood likes to add a lot of untrue action.
