i am studying about battleships and carriers i need to do a project about either a battleship or carrier ive hard about the uss midway and the uss ronald regan, uss missouri and lots more but i still need help thanks!^.^

There are many sites that cater to battleship and carrier enthusiast. I can name several worthy ships in both categories if you think that would help. Carriers=Akagi,Kaga,Shokaku,Shinano,Taiho,Junyo,Shoho,Hiryu,Soryu,Unryu,Lexington CV-2,Enterprise CV-6+CVN-65,Intrepid CV-11,Princeton,Guadalcanal,Bogue,Saratoga CV-3+Cv-60,Illustrious,Ark Royal,Victorious,Invincible,Garibaldi,De Gaulle,Varyag,Kiev. There were 71 planned and built battleships by the United States. Converted collier Jupiter, became the Langley. Two of the Lexington class battle cruiser were converted into carriers. The early carrier were Wasp, Ranger, Enterprise class. Essex Class Midway class. Independence Class, Kitty Hawk Class,
The Nuclear Enterprise, The Nuclear Nimitz class. There were several light carrier classes too

The USS Ticonderoga, an aircraft carrier was 890 feet long.That is 3 foot ball fields. It has to go 30 knots to launch planes into he wind, and 30 knots against the wind to catch flying planes on a tail hook.There were 3500 people living on the Tico. Todays aircraft carriers are even bigger(1100 feet) crew of 5000 . Tico burnd oil but todays are nuclear.
