It means if you don't go out there and do it soon, it may never happen. The early bird catches the worm, and this also infers that the other birds won't have any worm to catch. You want to be the first one out there taking action, because if you wait too long you may not have the same chances for success. Some people sit and watch the world pass them by, and wonder why opportunities never fall into their laps, like they think happens to everyone else. It's because they lack the initiative. The early bird never lacks initiative.

Most of the people I work with are early birds. They believe that the early bird catches the worm. They think that a person who gets up early in the morning for work has the best chance of success. or be the first to get there and most likely you will get first choice and what you want.not seconds. that's what i think it means.

the fir st person to get up and get to that specified location,,, job or club etc gets the best of what is available... for example if you are a club hopper... there may be some young ladies waiting to meet someone... if you go to the store for a sale and get there frst you get the best items...etc.i
