Season 2 finale - Becoming 1 & 2. It is the episode when Kendra dies and Giles is kidnapped by Angelus. She tells her mom the truth as to why the police are after her for Kendra's Death and then her mom tells her if she goes out she is to never come back.

Not sure. It might have been season 2. Seems so long ago now; I think she had no choice after Angel lost his soul and became Angelus! Could be mistaken. But because Buffy was so fickle with her men one minute Angel was welcome and the next he wasn't and back and forth like that. (Personally, think she should have stuck it out with Spike but that's a whole other discussion)
