I have tickets for the "pit" at an All-American Rejects concert on saturday. Even though it's called the pit, and the tickets say general admission...there are seats so in that area...It's first come, first serve which depends how far back we sit. And I'm going with two great guy friends who are much taller than me. I want to look rocker-chic, so I'm painting my nails a ruby color. I know that I want to wear a very cute, but warm top (low 30's temp that night) some sort of necklace...i love a layered beaded one.....and light wash skinny jeans...I have two options for shoes...I have black patent leather flats that I think make me look even shorter and fatter (5' 2", 118lbs)....even though others find them cute...or I have a pair of 2 1/2 inch black suede heels...which shoes should I wear? I want to wear the black ones but I'm afraid of getting them dirty....and what top do you suggest? Please ANSWER ASAP! thanks soo much for your help =)

go for the flats if you want to be comfortable cause you might get knocked over (it happens) you dont want to break your ankle because you decided to wear heels. but on the other hand if be taller wear the heels but be extremely careful and watch where you are going. although at 5'2" and 118 lbs you arent fat! so go with what looks best. personally i would go with the flats. have fun and be safe!!

Some things to remember:
1. You will be standing, moving around, dancing, jumping, etc... Stylish shoes can hurt your feet, taking away from your enjoyment of the concert.
2. It will be very close quarters, and every one will be moving around the same as you. So not only will no one see your feet, they may get stepped on more than once during the concert.
3. And yes, any shoes you wear have a big chance of getting dirty. Food and drinks get spilled often, so don't wear anything that's hard to clean.
You should be thinking about what is going to be practical, While sneakers may not be the look you want, you might want to consider a less-dressy shoe than the two pairs you listed. If you don't have another option in your closet, then go with the flats. Even if they aren't your favorite pair, they will be easier on your feet, and easier to clean after.
For a top, you want to go with layers. You want some kind of light-weight shirt under a heavier one so that if and when you get hot, you can take off the heavy shirt and be comfortable. It will also help keep you warmer when you are outside.

Wear the flats because you'll be up on your feet majority of the time. I guarantee it. You'd want to feel comfortable on your feet.
