i think you should be who you want to be, and who you feel more comfortable being... if you want to be more feminine then...

i suggest putting on a little makeup... maybe starting out with light, natural tones
then maybe you can go to the salon and try a new hairstyle.. and ask the hairdresser about easy styles you can do...
also, browse online.. seeing if you like any particular outfits ideas for the next time you go shopping :)

Honey, go with whatever makes you comfortable. You can try manicures and pedicures and facials, go to a little boutique and have a sales person help you find some girly-girl clothes (or bring a friend or relative who you think has good taste), and if you like it, that's great and there is nothing wrong with that. But there is also no law that says you have to stop being a tomboy after you give birth to a girl or a boy.
Are you worried about what kind of role-model you'll be for your daughter? I think you'll be fine, either way. You can be a model of a strong woman living her life the way she wants and dressing and acting as she pleases.

I don't think you should worry about it. I am a tomboy. When I have kids (hopefully soon), I'm not going to change my personality. I like the way I am. Just tell people that being girly isn't important to you and that you don't care whether your daughter ends up being girly or not. You can still be a great mom.

Well first off, is that what YOU want to do. If your satisfied with you the way you are, you are a rarity and should be applauded. But if you want to change for change sake, I'd start by doing research. What kind of style do you like. Find out what best suits your personal tastes (And budget :) Having a newborn, its hard to find time to do the overall glam daily. I suggest you start with small steps. Mascara, blush and lip gloss everyday for school and work. Then when you want to go out upgrade to eye liner and three inch heels. What ever you do, make sure you are comfortable. Remember confidence is ALWAYS sexy.

Don't see why you should become a girly girl... just let your daughter become one if she wants too...
