When I was about six weeks pg with my daughter, I had some spotting. It's normal. As long as it is not excessive and accompanied by sharp pain. Call your doctor if you experience anything more and want to be sure. It sounds like you and your baby are fine.

Don't worry. I'm 6 weeks pregnant too. I had my first appointment 2 weeks ago. My doctor told me that cramping (like when you're on your period) is normal. He said that light spotting is normal too, but bleeding wasn't. You should still bring it up to your doctor if you're concerned. Have you had a vaginal ultra sound yet? Sometimes you bleed when you have a fallopian tube pregnancy. An ultra sound will detect whether you have a regular pregnancy or not. Let your doctor know what's going on. It could be normal.

It actually is very common to have spotting! I learned this when my sister was pregnant with her first and since have met many women who experienced this. Typically with a miscarriage they say you should soak a pad before you should get worried, I have read and heard that sometimes it takes your body a little while to adjust to pregnancy it almost thinks it should have a period.
I have had cramping with 2 of mine at the time I should have started my period.
You can look on-line at signs of miscarriage, and also you can call the doctor, hospital or nurse helpline to give you peace of mind. Everything I have ever read though said spotting was not a concern.

some spotting can be normal. It could be left over from you last cycle. I would go to the doctor because they need to know those kinds of things even if nothing is wrong.

There is a strong possibility that you are trying to lose the baby. Go see a doctor right away. If you do not have a doc yet, go to the emergency room asap.

My freind lost her baby in the shower at 4 months because she thought early on spotting was normal...
How about you get a brain, pick up the phone, and call ur OBGYN and have her decide if it is normal. If it is really worrieing you... go to the hospital. Don't ask these freekin morons we don't have MDs
