Kerry told the students that if they studied hard they could do well, but if they didn't "you get stuck in Iraq." His office said he neglected to add the punch line: "Just ask President Bush."

So what's the deal Kerry is guilty on not having the delivery of Seinfeld.

First Irish guys should stick to limerick. and leave the jokes to Jewish comedians.

I wish you link was good I'm sure it is becoming.

As a Vietnam Vet I am quite sure that some of the men in uniform are capable of great things. While others gravitate to infamy.

As much as I dislike Kerry He did at least saddle up and not go AWOL.

Go big Red Go

I know they had hard feelings about that, everyone made it seem like an insult toward the troops on a statement that was totally aimed toward Bush, and his administration about the war in Iraq. If they were fed misleading info then of course they were offended and might have said we hate Kerry, but it's hard to tell. All I know is that it's time for them to come back home to their waiting families, friends, loved ones, and their country. I'd rather have them HERE and ALIVE, than THERE and DEAD!!!

They were making fun of his elitist and condescending opinions of them. The military knows Kerry doesn't respect them and I love how they turned it around on him. He's a dirtball and thinks he's untouchable because of his paper cut purple hearts.

Kerry makes a big deal of his 4 months in Vietnam, then came back and accused the military of all kinds of atrocities that were later proven to be false.

If Kerry had ANY integrity, he'd make his apology verbally, not post yet another anti-war diatribe non-apology on his web site. He would make his apology and STFU. Noooooo, he has to make a half-hearted apology and then drone on for ten minutes about his opinions on the war. Every statement has to bash the war and Bush. He cannot drop politics long enough to make a sincere apology. He's the worst kind of politician, a blowhard with nothing of value to say.

They were telling Kerry to stuff it. Most Americans know what he meant. Liberals hate the military. It was decimated under Clinton. Bush has finally rebuilt it.

Whether people want to admit this or not, most liberals look down on the average person. I have seen repeated examples of this.

I wonder if anyone actually realizes that Kerry is not running for any office whatsoever in this election. The fact that the republicans and the news will waste days on this story should tell you that the republicans don't want to discuss issues. Probably because their stand is untenable.

My guess is they are thanking him for trying to stand up to the president and his cronies who got us into this mess so that they can dismantle the constitution.

It was a response from the very people that should respond. It should be a message that is highly regarded, since it came from those that are serving in Iraq. Who better to interpret the "joke"?

The fact that the picture was taken down is concerning - our soldiers should have freedom of speech!
