Yes. The addition of a rouge/blush helps to balance the face, and when applied properly, it gives a healthy "flush" to the skin.

I haven't used real rouge since the 70s' If you are using true rouge, use extremely sparingly

I have only bought real rouge once in my life, and it worked great. But I prefer blush; it's less expensive, and it's easier to keep it light and more natural looking.

I use a blush or a bronzer to give it a little color. You'd be surprised how much difference it can make in your appearance to use a slightly darker powder, make-up or bronzer just to brush lightly over your face.
