my friend says she got raped when she was 9 and she poped her cherry but she says she just did it again too...

in my book anyone who is raped before they willingly had sex is still a virgin. popped cherries as you call it is the hymen brearking and this has no determing factor on virginity...they can break from lots of things...also a girl can willingly lose her virginity before her first period....there is no connection.

Virginity is lost when you have sex for the first time, even if you are raped. So she only lost it once, at 9

It doesn't matter when you have your first sexual intercourse or the circumstances around it.

At the age that your friend is she waaaay toooo young for sexual activity! IF she was in deed raped, was there anything done about it? Did her parents get her counseling? If not, then she NEEDS it!!!!
If she is just slutting around she is going to cause a LOT of trouble for herself as well as those she sluts with!!!

the first time can only happen once.... but some people may not consider it as losing your virginity because it wasn't by choice. Sucks for your friend though...has she gotten counseling for it? and it sounds like she's too young to be doing it on her own anyways....

Losing your virginity and starting your period are two different things. When you lose your virginity you hymen is torn (hence the bleeding). Your period happens becuase the uterus is shedding it's lining. They are not related in anyway.....So the question really doesn't make sense.

losing your virginity is getting penetrated. The hymen (cherry) does heal, but that doesnt mean she lost her virginity again.

If one is raped one loses their physical innocence. But one does not lose their virginity untill one give their body to another willingly.

Your friend needs to go to social services or to tell a guidance counselor to help her seek out therapy.
Cherries don't pop. Girl's hymen's usually break before the first time they have sex.
I'm worried about your friend. . .
You should worry about her too.
BTW: Virginity is over-rated.

Your virginity is lost when you first have intercourse. If it had been me, though, I would still claim to be a virgin until I CHOSE to lose my virginity. But that's a whole other issue!
