I am an elementary school teacher in Dallas, and all you need is a 4 yr Bachelors Degree. If it is not in Education you can apply to an Alternative Certification Program, they are all over the state, and if you are bilingual that is going to help! Just have your degree and contact the school district you want to work with. I work for Dallas ISD and the program was for 1 year, the train you while you pass all the TEXES (state tests). It is very possible, don't give up on the idea.
Good luck!

You need Bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies. If you have already gotten a degree in something else you may go through an alternative certification program through a district or region.
