What do you think of a male nurse?

There are good ones and bad ones just like female nurses, but they also get paid better than females and that isn't right.

I have met some great male nurses but none that I would like to give a sponge bath to any of the ladies in my life. Simple double standard. I don't think it is right to force male nurses on female patients.

Admirable. We need more male nurses. Though some female patients would prefer a female nurse especially for some specific bedside procedures.

Male nurses have my utmost respect. The medical field needs them. The male nurses that I have met are intelligent, caring and hard working people.

my brother is a male nurse, my uncle was a male nurse
my husband is in a nursing program right now
i've never understood the issue people have with men being nurses

as long as they're are qualified I don't think anything of them, just like with a female nurse
