How do you create a life if you're good at many things?
I just wanna know what a person can do if there are many things she can do well or potentially do. How can she mold her time, her life, and even choose a definite career? Or is there some way she can be all things? Please imagine and answer...I really need them badly. My intelligence is such that I can choose any subject matter and do it and I have many interests spanning the arts and social sciences, as well as science and maths. I've decided my fortes are visual art (painting and possibly sculpture), voice (music), psychology and philosophy (which also encompasses social issues). I have a keen mind for mathematics and sciences, and I am currently studying an applied science. Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this? I definitely am going to get a job in this applied science, but I couldn't possibly be happy putting my arts on hold for so long. I mean, I do voice because it is portable, but visual arts is on hold

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do what makes you happy. I know exactly how you feel! I started at college and had no clue what I wanted to do. I honestly could have probably picked almost any major and done well in it, because of the nature of who I am. I am not trying to be conceited, just honest. What did I end up doing? I've just about graduated with a physics degree. I wish I had done an engineering degree, but I figure physics is close enough to get the same jobs anyways, and didn't figure out early enough what I actually enjoy. Looking back, I really wish I had figured out what made me happier earlier on. So my answer to you is look around, check out your life and what you really enjoy. Obviously you'll be successful in whatever you do, so money probably won't ever be an issue in any field, so don't led that cloud your mind. Money won't matter if you're happy anyways. You can also eliminate career ideas with things you don't like. Every choice eliminated is one less option, narrowing your field. That's what I've been doing when people ask me what I plan on doing. I don't know necessarily what I like for my job options, but I do know several things I don't like, and that has enabled me to start looking seriously into the ones I do. And I figure I'll be happy with most of them, so then I've started looking at other things, like what a company's philosophies are, if they are environmentally conscious or whatnot. If I can be happy and successful in 20 different jobs, then I've got to find the one that I think I will fit in at best, and that fits my personal philosophies best. Then start looking for other related things, like whether a field's job opportunities are in the same geographic areas as my hobbies. If I like to hike, then there's got to be nice natural places nearby. If I like the arts, then there has to be a theatre, art studios, or concert halls nearby. Start looking at all the little things you enjoy, and what fields can include the most of them. The other thing you could do is try some of those personality/career profile tests. I actually found them to be pretty accurate in my case, although probably later in the game than I should have taken them. Anyways, best of luck with whatever you end up doing - I hope it leads you to a fulfilled life.

I think it depends on why you are pursuing each of these things. If you are doing them from love and pureness of enjoyment, then you don't need to be asking any questions.. if you are doing them for financial gain, then too, the answers should be obvious...
You can plot a map of your life all you want but winds blow heavy and change direction, storms arise. The course will change.
Go your own road - you sound very dissatisfied and unhappy.. I think you need to relax a little and figure your goals for yourself.. I know a lady who is an extraordinary pen and ink artist, she is a lousy writer, but thats what she prefers doing and I would not want to be the one to tell her what she should do - nor you either..
I do not want this to sound nasty but I think that these are very personal decisions and you should choose the road that you will be happiest on - - not necessarily the road that others think you should take -- Is someone pressuring you or are you doing this [ using your talents to torment yourself ] on your own?
Best of luck to you -

Get a degree in your desired field and practice your art at the same time. You can do more than one thing. There are many people who do many things. I'm working on a Psychology degree while I am also a jewelry designer and a published writer.

Then you just have to be a workaholic. To be good at something, and be succesful, and get famous takes time. And it depends on how good you really are.
From your description, you wanted to do EVERYTHING. TIME is something you dont have. Because quality gets lower if you minus the time. So my suggestion is to take one step at a time. Do it from what you like most and then do it like theres no tommorow. Once you're good at it, you will know if you want to master it further or get on with other things.
Theres no point doing so MANY things at once coz you will end up being messing up your work, and making yourslef more confuse.

existence is what you're making it, in spite of the indisputable fact that outer impacts no longer below your administration can redirect your course. Your reason of being right it is to check by capacity of journey and to advance inwardly. destiny is a fulfilment of what you're to do in this lifetime, for as you know, all of us have multiple presents, or skills, that are there as our destiny to be fulfilled to a pair extra effective or lesser degree. it incredibly is your capacity. What you do which incorporate your presents is up on your loose will. you would be pulled in direction of outer sights and forget approximately what you are able to desire to be doing, or you are able to communicate coming up your capacity. for occasion, some people have each and all of the actual characteristics that make for a proficient musician or singer, the voice and technique come actual yet some will waste their skills and settle for much less. it incredibly is all as much as you. In end i might say particular your existence is already mapped out for you yet you do have the liberty of determination, and needless to say notwithstanding happens is for a reason. concerning administration, you are able to no longer continuously administration what activities take place on your existence in spite of the reality which you will administration the way you react to them.
