Vitacost.com has a children's vitamin with 50% of the RDA of magnesium and 90% of the RDA of iron. They are $20 for 240 chewable tablets. I have purchased from Vitacost.com before and was happy with the products and service.

You probably already know this but, your son shouldn't take it at the same time as any milk products because calcium inhibits the absorption of magnesium and iron.

Any drug store should be able to fulfill your needs.Make sure you read the labels carefully as to not OD your son on common minerals which can be harmful if given in too large of a dose
