Well...I think that marriage offers different people different things. Being married is like telling the world that you are with this one person and they are with you forever (if all goes well ;o), and if you don't feel the need to do this or make this committment, then you should stick to your "true friendship".

true friendship, companionship, warm body, makes a honest person of your partner, be a good example for your children when they ask the same question, great meals, two minds are better than one and becomes one. Marriage is sacred. marriage is a true commitment, not just a something you can walk out of -if it doesn't "work".ummmm guilt free sex.

i gives the other person a legal binding contract to treat u like dirt. not to have sex any longer, gripe about u all the time and to throw in ur face that were married and u have to take it. where as a true friend would never treat someone like dirt. read this it will explain: a good friend will bail u out of jail, a true friend will be sitting next to u saying "damn that was fun". if u r dealing with a woman never committ and never, never say i love u

Marriage can bring emmence happiness...if you marry the right person. It's the point where you can say we've made it through all of this and I want to go through more with you. At least that's what I think.

Haha, I've got this gay exboyfriend and we get along better then a married couple, we talk about everything from our deepest insecurities to what kind of guys we like. I get things from him that are deeper than a romantic relationship. But I still need a romantic relationship to pleasure me in those kind of ways and fill my evolutionary needs. And also it gives us something to talk about together.
