Hip hugger bell bottom jeans, or any jeans with a lot of patches. Gauze shirts or tye-dye. Hair! let it flow, wear flowers in it, or tie a head band so it centers across your forehead. Strings of beads, wrist bangles. Fringes on leather vests. Sandals or barefoot. Wide belts. Peace symbols, doves.
Refer to guys as "cats" and girls as "chicks" and "yeah man" or "far out" were the common expressions. "Flower power" and "Make love not war" were themes due to the Viet Nam war going on. Girls wore thick eye liner and patchouli oil, no bra, free flowing long skirts, big earings. Pretty much anything goes that isn't conservative looking. Yeah, I lived them and recall them as the good ol' days. Peace and Love.

Probably the easiest and cheapest way if you have time is go to a second hand store or Goodwill shop. I don't know your age but if your parents are young, example mid 30's early 40's they would be able to direct you to the right look. Any bell bottom pants, loud colors with designs ex. the neons, stack shoes- like the KISS boots, long straight hair, headband around the forehead.
think like a flower child, you could also check out early Greatful Dead websites. Good luck

Dont take a bath or change your clothes for A WEEK, and a haircut for 2 months--- U WILL RESEMBLE A HIPPY.

go find bell bottom jeans, thrift stores are excellent places. tatter the bottoms. Find either a rock band ot tye-dye T-Shirt then flip flops, round sun glasses.

Wash your hair,let it air dry and dont comb it, and put a hairband around your head.
