My fiance and I are planning on getting married in a couple of years. I am divorced, but kept my ex-husband's name because I have two young kids. My fiance doesn't really like his name, as he was teased because of it growing up. I don't want to keep my ex-husband's name. My children are young and not close with their father, so they want to change their name to. Now, we need help choosing a name. Please help us choose from the following: Stark, Drakkar, Sterling, or Merrick. Or if you have anything similar that you would like to add- feel free.

Thanks so much!

None of these names are of people that we are related to. Yes we looked into geneology, but everything was really boring. My maiden name was long and uninteresting. These are the only four that we liked. My kids have their opinions, but they are only 3 & 5, so I can't leave everything up to them. Thanks so far.

I think it's so cool that you 4 are going to decide this together!
Why don't you have a family vote?
I don't like Stark, Drakkar, or Sterling because they sound too soap-opera-ish. So, I like Merrick best, but it makes me think of John Merrick, The Elephant Man. I guess that could be a positive as he was such a courageous gentleman.
How about Best? Or Strong? Or Champion?

i think Merrick sounds the most normal or Stark because Drakkar sounds kind evil and Sterling sounds like a first name.
are these last names you just decided to choose or is it your fiances, ex, and your last names? ok hope i helped!

I happen to think "Sterling" sounds good, as it reminds me of the Precious Metal SILVER. Other names to consider might be Flaming, Fleming, Glimmer, Sparkle, Shiniest, or variations thereof.

Whatever name you choose, promise each other you will **ALWAYS** sacrifice anything and everything for Each-Other!! And then =LIVE= by that promise --no matter what--!!
