Well all you need to do is get two data from the table you'll need the description and totals.
Now hit the chart button and pick which kind of chart you want then hit next now click on the series tab and hit the reemove button until their is nothing.
Now hit add and then click on the (VALUES) button and highlight all of the total for your chart, Values is all your data.
Then now we are gonna get the labels data click on the Categories (X) axis labels button and highlight all the data that your comparing to the totals data.
Once this is all done then hit next and name it and do all your editing here once your done hit next and now if you want it in the same page as the table choose the 1st button 2nd button if you want it on its own page.
Hope this helps and Im not that good at explaining so sorry.

There should be a button with a little picture of a bar graph in the top menu. Click on it. From there, you're good to go. Using the "Help" menu is good too.

First you need to add your data values to an excel spreadsheet, and then use the [Insert]-->[Chart] wizard. The wizard will ask you to specify the data ranges.

Without knowing any more about the problem, I can't offer anything more concrete :-|
