I bought a pearlscale weeks ago. Now it seem to be losing the "pearlscales" on its body. Could it be sick?

The pearlscales are now smooth. Will it grow back again? What do I? Please help.

Yes I think it is normal and will come back a better color try this may help you get more insight on the fish

it is perfectly natural. it is just shedding to get new scales. they will grow back
