In general, I believe a good color for a pageant dress is one that stands out from every other dress on stage-- without being too ostentacious. I don't know what would look best on you since I don't know your skin tone. However, I love jewel tones, and if you could wear a mix between a navy and electric blue, or an emerald green, then I think that would look hot and classy.

Like everyone says , whatever you feel comfortable in. it depends on your skin color and shape. Make sure it's age appropriate and that it follows the rules. You can loss a pageant by having a slit that is too high.
here are some colors and messages tha it sends:
white and pastels-approachable, gentle, and feminine
burgundy, dark green, deep teal-conservative and controlled
royal blue, purple, fuchsia, yellow-energetic, exciting, animated, extroverted
black, charcoal Grey, navy, chocolate-credible , authoritative, assertive
warm colors such as orange and red, golden yellow-friendly, approachable, down to earth
colo colors such as blues, turquoise, brown, rose- conservative, classic, sophisticated
Hope that helps but just whatever is more comfortable. Go shopping with friends, it's better to have second opinions.
Here's some websites that i go to look for dress:

Good luck with your pageant

Something light colored. Anything that stands out against your skin tone, but not too wild. I've been in a few pageants, and almost everyone I've ever been in, a white dress wins. It just depends on your age group. If you're older, I'd say a more professional look, such as black.

You know it really depends
I am in pageants and I talk to my coach but this is usually what she tells me.....
Tan/Darker Skin Colors look best with colors that bring out a nice glow in skin like say light purple or bink
pale Usually looks great in Light eleant oranges and yellows also light pink.....
Consider it and if u need any other help ask me....Hope this helps

nothing too obnoxious ( like hot pink, purple..yellow....orange ..etc...) stick with something black, white, just depends...(make sure the colors are soft and not loud)
I think something simple, yet classy for a dress would be great. Its all about the style and cut of the dress and how you wear it, and feel in it. If you feel comfortable and confident as well as sexy in it....that will show to the judges, and get the positive attention you want from them!!! Make sure whatever you choose, no matter what color, you feel fabulous in it and you feel completely comfortable to be judged in that dress. (dont forget about that)

It depends on you skin color. But if you wear something pale or soft, you won't stand out from the rest.

Well, try your favorite color and if you don't want that color or you just don't have a favorite color it depends. If you want something bold go for a bright red or blue, if you want something unique go for a lavendar or sea green.
