How long should an NHS acceptance essay be? How many paragraphs, pages? What should be my main focus?
I've got a good chunk on it done, but I would like to see what I can do better. Also , does anyone know where I can download another application? (just in case i lose the other one)

This will vary from school to school, so you're probably best off asking someone who has already been through the process at your school. The applications are also different from school to school; there is no nationwide application.
Brief is generally good for such an essay. However, you must show how you meet the four criteria on which membership in NHS is based: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. A paragraph on each (plus an introduction and conclusion) would likely be appropriate.
