I have been in a relationship for 5 yrs and one summer my girlfriend did alot of mess up stuff to me. And I just put it to the back of my mind. But now it seems to pop up more then ever before. I mean songs things that she says. Just make me think about things that made me feel some kinda of way. Now how do I forgive her? What would some of you do?

You either make a decision to forget or to hold a grudge forever. She did those things in the past, and I assume has apologized and made up for it... so now the ball is in your court and it is up to you to forgive or to not forgive. You need to make a decision soon though, otherwise you'll just be in this bad-feeling state of mind. The choice to forgive is always the better one too, but I'm sure you know that.

Now, how do you forgive her? You try to understand it and realize that it was in the past and that people change and make mistakes and you accept it and forgive it.

Try to forget the bad memories with better ones. If you still have a problem, it is probally something you need to get off your chest. Tell her you need to talk to her. First let her know that you still like her, but you need to talk about something that happened in the past. Tell her it has just been bugging you and you need to discuss it without fighting.
