Despite alexander's 'crimes', he considered to be one of the greatest , if not the greatest, military strategists in history. Look at how much land he was able to conquer in the short while he was alive.

And don't you think great rulers have to commit a few 'crimes' to some people to accomplish what he accomplished? That is the harsh truth of the ancient history. It wasn't the modern world.

Alexander is considered Great because he controlled so much of the known world. To do so, yes he did a lot of crimes.

Of which 'crimes' do you speak? Genocide?

You cannot judge Alexanders actions from your modern perspective. People who existed in antiquity have to be judged by the standerds of the era in which they lived.

Crimes by modern standards you mean. And, No I don't believe that the "Great" should be removed from his name. How was he different from any other leader/despot of that time?
