Weak can be defined as physically weak, and mentally weak. Being naive and gullible does not mean either of those two things. It only means he is inexperienced and might get fooled and tricked easily in the outside world. Of course, everything from a naive POV is simple, sweet, and easy and people often wish to stay like that, though innocence is not enough for people to survive in the real world.

yeah, but the weakness is only a product of the first two qualities. for instance, you wouldn't know he was weak till he got into a conflict, right? and the antagonist (bully, whatever) already knows hes naive and gullible. therefore it kind of goes full circle right back to the naive and gullible dude.
or something like that.

no, look them up in a dictionary

naive means innocent, inexperienced (so time & experience of life may be needed)

gullible means can be taken for a ride, duped (so could be more smart, experienced, street-wise to avoid this)

weak has several meanings
weak usually means not strong, which is a meaningless comparison as a bully may be strong, but can be said to be weak as in lacking in self-esteem, so you have to qualify what "weak" means

There are cheap opportunists in every career and walk of life, it is naive to think otherwise. But to answer your question, no - I have never been scammed by a self-professed psychic or astrologer. I am firmly against giving anyone any form of "power" over my future decisions, be they priest or palm reader, or scientist. However, curiosity has led me to study religion, astrology, palm reading, tarot, and many forms of science. Amazing what paths of knowledge can be opened up by scepticism, provided you keep an open mind and a healthy sense of humour. You should try it.

its a really good question you ask. he is definately not weak. you see people that live in poorer communities or in war stricken countries and they dont look happy. its not just because they have seen people they love hungry or worse, killed. they have lost their naivety on how they view the world. kids should have that luxury of being naive without having to worry about the harms they can face. i dont mean things like crossing the road could possibly lead to being hit by a car if you're not careful because that is necessary. i mean things like being too scared to swim in the lovely cool ocean on a hot day because they're too scared of sharks or being too scared to trust a human because of the chance of being tricked by a peadophile.

then the kids that have been sheltered by the harms the world can give grow up and are faced with more life experiences and can be too naive to see whats going on in front of them. so its one of those things that especially a parent will worry about. where do i inform my child and where do i not.

well if someone hasn't been out there in the world long enough like they say than they can usually be naive, but that doesn't mean they don't have sense or they're weak just not very aware of their surrondings, being exposed to things in a way helps you out in your life, because you aren't easily suckered into things because you know what happens in different situations causing you to be more alert, some people have to go down certain paths to learn what happens in different situtations that way they can warn people they know about what happens in different situations, so sometimes one has to be the leader to show everyone else

Those qualities being certainly not strengths...one must consider the human potential...if a person w/ those negative traits learns to overcome them they could be considered "strong" or "stronger"...this brings into question whether we are even strong or weak to begin with or if strength is more of an action rather than a personal trait...

No. Weakness is knowing what the right thing to do is, but cannot resist doing the wrong thing.

Naive is simply a lack of experience.

It means he has lived a very sheltered life and usually only sees the good in people, doesn't realize what a real sinner is
