Well, lots of people get into goth for various reasons. It could be the look or style, the music, the literature, the mindset, a goth friend, or many other reasons. Of course, you sound as though you've made up your mind and don't want anything but to pass judgement on 'the other'. I'm not going to try to convince you.

The kids do it so they stand out. They are sad or angry about certain rules in society so they go all goth to express it. They don't care if they're being made fun of, they do it to express themselves and what they think of life.

This is only my opinion...

To me kids who dress in goth are advertising that fact that they are depressed and unhappy at home. Dressing goth gives them an instant identity and an instant sense of belonging and being accepted and understood, something that they don't have at home.

many people have faith that to totally be in a undeniable musical style, they ought to additionally seem that way. by using fact of this many emo young infants gown the way they do. it is totally stupid somewhat. the song you like shouldn't totally mirror the form you experience you ought to gown. they are actually not related in any respect. somebody would be a metallic lover yet gown like a businessman. people, quite at youthful a protracted time, fall into this way. they desire to be set different than for others, and be a individual, yet they are merely a individual in a team of persons attempting to seperate themselves.
