I know this question is over but I just read "blah blah blah's" response and s/he doesn't allow email (hate that) so in the off chance that s/he is reading this...
I haven't given ANYONE on this question thumbs up/down. Someone else is. And check the question, I never said I prefer exotic pets. I don't. I like furry, "normal" creatures but I took out the word "normal" so as not to sound biased.
Bugs me when, like you did, people make such wrong assumptions. Here I try to be all inclusive and ask an innocent question & still have someone pissin' at me. Come on now. But I gave you a thumbs down for giving such a snippy answer.

No I don't like snakes, some lizards are cute as long as they don't eat bugs. Don't forget that rabbits are exotics too. I love my rabbit.
Why are most people getting a thumbs down. Are we suppose to agree with you that Lizards are the best creatures in the world.
If you don't like the answers your going to get them don't post a question.

Dogs and Cats. I prefer cats out of the two. No snakes or spiders for me, they scare me.

No! I love my 1 dog, 1 rabbit and 10 Cats and I wouldn't trade them for anything in this world.

i do love cats and snakes you can't really snuggle with a snake but watching a snake take a mouse out is much cooler than watching a kitty do it

Yeah I do, cause it freaks a lot of people out of my house. I also have a tarantula.

I have both and i like my snake better she eats less and doesn't jump on me with muddy paws .

i have a cat, and i adore him..
so i prefer domisticated pets rather than exotic ones.
