I have a possible "opportunity" to see a ghost, but I'm not sure I want to do it as I think my husband has a special "sense" for these things and I don't want to freak him out (uh, cause then I would REALLY freak) but I just don't know. I'm scared. Story goes as so: A father and daughter (whom was married & pregnant) were murdered (along with the rest of the family) in the 1800s. Rumor is that each year on the anniversary of their deaths the father and daught reunite at the father's grave (they are burried at different cemetaries) No one ever solved who committed this crime. MANY people are spooked by this place and experts say it's true. Would you go??

Sure, I am a paranormal investigator and I visit haunted places all the time.

Most stories like that are merely Legends and not actually what happens.

That does not mean there is not paranormal activity there, but I doubt you will actually see that the way the legend describes, but I say go and check it out and it it does happen congratulations.

Not everyone can see ghosts, and most of the paranormal investigators out there have never seen a ghost, but have experienced things of a paranormal nature.

I believe in ghosts because I have seen two, but those two are the only ones I have seen and spoken to, but I have had many other experiences with the paranormal.

Hmmm.... I haven't ever, and my city Halifax has a "ghost walk" once a week in the fall and summer. there are even several books about ghosts in Nova Scotia, and I've never read any of them. I might someday, so I guess I'm not against looking for ghosts, but I've never felt the need to go try.

I think I would, if going to the graveyard at night weren't illegal or something (a lot of places will call the cops on you if you go in after dark, even if you're just taking a shortcut to your friends house through the yard.)

I once intentially spent the night in a hotel room said to be haunted. So, it doesn't freak me out at all.

I do see ghosts without the benefit of 'legend' and tall tale going along with them. If you have never seen one, it is unlikely that you will see one then. You can go if you want to be scared, but if your husband has a 'special sense' you need to discuss it with him before you drop it on him. No, I probably wouldn't go, as if the ghost(s) were trying to contact me, they would, no matter my location.

It would be tempting.

I would NOT go alone but with someone who is familiar with spirit manifestation and could act as a guide as well as offering some protection from the negative energy that may be around these spirits.

A good friend of mine leads "spirit walks" at the Gettysburg Battlefield here in Pennsylvania to connect with the souls of the departed Civil War soldiers so I would go with her because, since she is a psychic, she is what I would call "qualified".

Whether or not you go, please remember these poor spirits in a special prayer that they may go to their reward and not have to haunt.

Bless you.

Hope this helps you.

As long as it was a friendly ghost. lol...I'd go anyway, out of curiosity, maybe learn something along the way. I wouldn't mind going over the battleground at Gettysburg. Heard that place is haunted big time.

Do the research. Always go with another person. Be ready to debunk the myth.
Remember that as humans we have a "fight or flight" response to certain events. We have animal-like senses, and your adrenaline will kick in. You may see or hear things you otherwise wouldn't.

NO, because my parents have had horrible experiences with them. One time a ghost attacked my mother every night while they lived in an apartment once they moved it stopped. Well not every night because for the first month the ghost washed the dishes COOOL huh. too bad it turned on them.

I personally do not believe in ghosts. However, I do believe that if an individual has faith or a strong belief than they create that image or sensory in their mind.

So, no I would not take the opportunity to see ghosts.

I would jump at the chance to see a ghost. As long as I wouldn't have to be alone in the dark when I see it.
