theme park with wet n wild has to be Sunway lagoon in Petaling Jaya, taxi should be ok as there are buses too but i don't know which one. taxi is quite expensive as Sunway is a little far from Kuala Lumpur but shouldn't be more than RM50.00. Entrance fee to Sunway is something below RM50.00 per adult[all-in ticket].
if you are from Penang then Bukit Merah Lake Town is a good choice !
if i am not mistaken, the only place that offered beaches swimming pool within a city is the Palace of the Golden Horse n its a six stars hotel ! unless you are willing to drive[rent a car] down to Port Dickson, here its the nearest n nice? beach from Kuala Lumpur.

There is Sunway Lagoon Resort, it is west of Kuala Lumpur, i think about 20km. It has a big wave pool.
You could take a taxi, but i think it is quite pricy.
Or you can go to Genting, which is about an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. They have good rollercoasters and swimming pools.
