Someone please help me, my girlfriend's a very stubborn woman and won't see the doctor! She get's random shooting pains a lot throughout her body, however complains about what sound like severe shooting pains under her breasts. I've asked her and the shooting pains also occur throughout the rest of her body. Can someone please shed some light on this?? It's been worrying me for a long time!

Her spinal nerves might be agitated by bones that rub against them from not being properly aligned. People sometimes refer to this as "pinching" but if it was a pinch it would be even more severe than what it sounds like now.

If she's having shooting pain like that then it could be a nerve problem. Gas does not generally cause "shooting" pain. I've had more than my fair share of gas and not once to I remember getting anything that I would describe as shooting pain. She definately should see a doctor. My advice is to try and talk her into it.

It could just be gas. A lot of times gas can cause shooting pains anywhere in you body, and it feel like something extreem but it's just from being bloated. Especially around the time of your period. Tell her drinking a lot of water, and avoid salty and greasy foods. It may be something more serious, but that's something that won't hurt her to at least try.

pain is your body's signal telling you something is wrong'.And a lot of times if people get help in time they can CURE IT if its something bad; keep trying to get her to go see a doctor.good luck;hope she will be OK.

This kinda sounds like depression or fibromyalgia,. I think she should see the doctor.
