I'm writing a Spanish paragraph on Day of the Dead so I was wondering if you guys could help me with some information.

El Día de los Muertos is also celebrated in Central and South America, but it's not as big as it is in Mexico.
In one city in Guatemala, they fly homemade kites to let the spirits know where to go.

As celebrated by the Pagans yes there is . it is called Samhain(sow-en).the Pagan New year. before leaving for the main ritual.Each covener sets out a plate with cakes and wine and a lighted candle,as an offering to their own beloved dead, and spends some time recalling the memory of friends and relatives who are gone.
Some call it the silent supper.

They do lots of things to honor friends and family that have died. Such as make there favorite foods. Decorate an alter with there favorite flowers and pictures of them. Light candles in there memory. Many people tend to the graves on this day and have a picnic by the grave in remembrance of there loved one. They also make sugar skulls.
