i heard that a floppy disk can reach up to 80mb windows xp... is this true? and how do you do it?

I think only by zipping files.

No floppy disk can hold that much, the most is about 2 megs. A zip disk can hold between 50 and 250 megs depending on the disk. A CD holds 600 megs.

Hi. Kevin is correct but even with zipping you would be hard pressed to get 80. Better to get an inexpensive CD burner. Lasts longer too.

without going into a long explanation......you can't.........the most you'll get from a floppy is about 1.44mb. what i recommend you do is get a USB drive to hold your informatiion. USB drives are pretty inexpensive nowadays averaging aroung 20-30 bucks for a 1GB drive

You can make it hold more by compressing the disk, but it is not advised, it's not worth it.

you can't! try a zip disk or burn your files to a cd.
OR you can upload it to your yahoo email account then download it later
