I was the initiator of an escape call. A friend set it up to have me text page at a certain time. If he responded "yes" I was to call his cell phone. "No" meant it was going well. I got the "yes." So I called.
At my last office we had the escape call setup for this co-worker that never knew when to shut up. We'd IM each other asking someone to call the main line so that hopefully the guy would stop talking.

No I am more of a straight forward kinda girl, I have used "I am going home now because I wouldn't want to be seen with you if you were the last man on earth, strike that the last man in the omniverse' and "No I don't want a kiss goodnight, no I don't want your number, yes I would enjoy watching you being fed to ravonious lions while covered in honey and fire ants."
I always thought the escape call was lame and cliche...

No, I'm not that clever. However, when I was much younger, I had a girlfriend that called me and talked on and on and on and I would motion to one of my sisters to go into the kitchen and call out my name and I'd have to say, sorry, I gotta go. Does that count?

No, but I have used that, while chatting,
and the "uh oh...somebody's here"
or the "man! my dogs are barking like crazy!"
while I was on the telephone.
What can I say? Sometimes, I just want to go...lol
