That's SO rude! I have a spare bedroom where I live, but it's only a Chick room! Leave your old man for the Sun of Phoenix and the CucumberMan!

No. But my grandparents leave the radio on so it sounds like someone is there. They have never been broken into and have lived there nearly 30 years. A lady that lives down the road has lived there the same amount of time and has been broken into half a dozen times. So it does work to some degree.

oy vey that would drive me batty. Hopefully you can mention this to them in a nice way without them retaliating, lol.
Sometimes I have a streak of sentimentality and leave the music on for our kitty, but we live in a house.
But an apartment? Subwoofers and the whole 9 yds?
Nah, your neighbor just isn't thinking.

No, I always make sure the lights and tv are all off, unless I am spending the night alone and coming home late, then I will leave a light on but that's it.

I would never leave it on loud, or do anything like that.. but I do leave the TV on when I leave, because it makes my dogs feel like they are not alone, and surprisingly I find that they're not as bad, and they make less mischief when the TV is on. For them, I think it's a comfort thing.

Not in my own apartment, I'm not paying the cable company for TV I'm not there to enjoy. But I do like it when my neighbors leave their wireless internet box thingie pointed in my direction so I can borrow their internet.

Well I love the non-threatening little people in the box...as I call television.....and i leave it on...so they 'greet' me when I come back.......*wink*...I write a lot and love the TV droning in the backround.......is this so bad a crime against humanity i am fit for jail? I think not. BTW it isn't loud....the little people are simply ( I am laughing....) my firiends and I can click them off at will...it is like having an ignore button. Neat huh?
To each their own.......

No, of course not. AFTER you ask them to turn it way down, complain to management if they do not. I use to have a neighbor who left his stereo on and I would almost swear my walls were moving with each beat. I do recall a few of my framed photographs falling from the walls the first time he tried it out. In fact, I could not even hear my television! I talked to him and he pooh-poohed me so I talked with the manager and other neighbors -- he turned it way down.

Oh crud, I will have to keep that in mind when I or if I sell my house. Renters are rats. If you want to avoid rats living so close, buy a home. Rats above you sick the most. They are loud, dirty, thump in the night and flood the downstairs.
