I would like to not only get to know who bought my book but get a person to person connection with possible fans on line. I would like to know what people think and how they feel when they read my book. It's very important for me to get in contact with people whom I may be signing books for later. Especially when I do my local advertisements, I need to know what people think and or feel about what they've bought and or read from someone else.

Use your 360 Page to interact with others, and draw their interest to you and your writings. Ask questions, show an interest in your readership. Enter into dialogues with people who offer reviews. Try opening an MSN or Yahoo community, and showcase your writings, philosophies, and invite other writers and fans of your genre of writing with encouragement and open dialogues.

Additionally, begin an e-zine which includes excerpts from your book. For a terrific example of how well this can work, check out Rob Brezsny's website and subscribe to his free weekly e-zine:

Include a self addressed, meter stamped post card with your book requesting a review. Include on it contact information. Let them contact you. You can also set up a web page or a blog.

The only reviews that really count will be in the newspaper and will be forwarded to you from your publisher.

Have a website created for yourself, and put up a public fan forum.
