First go get a tetanus shot. Then find a doctor and dentist that will tell you it is safe. No go ahead and do it, it will all work out one way or another.

Uh...honey, please don't do this yourself. You could seriously damage your tongue. You could lose your sense of taste. Losing your sense of taste is even possible when you have a professional do it. But if you are really set to have your tongue pierced, then PLEASE see a professional. DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELF!!!!!!
