Go ahead & tell her - she may be able to tell them apart & know which is which. If not - you can compare their footprints. Reminds me of my friend who is a foster parent. One time they brought her 6 month old identical twins - the social worker told us their names & we painted the toenail of one twin so we could remember which was which. Well, a week later when the mom had a visit with the boys she called them the opposite name. The social worker had mixed them up & we called them the wrong names for a week! LOL They survived - GOOD LUCK!

I'd take this opportunity to tattoo one of them so this never happens again. As for right now I'd just take a guess, dress them then ask your wife if she notices anything about the babies. If she says they're dressed wrong then say you were joking, if she doesn't notice then good job.

yeah! lol..lol.. u're dead! lol..lol.. ok but seriously, tell ur wife, it could happen to anyone else in the future when baby sitting or something-it's a innocent mistake and she should've told u she was going to take their bracelets off in the first place, start to analyze each baby (every nook and cranny) head to toe, and once u and ur wife figure out which baby is which, go and buy them some gold baby name plated bracelets. and keep one baby dressed in one color and the other baby in another color- good luck! very funny !
