Hey-

I worked at McD full time for about 2 years and it was fine as long as you aren't lazy and you're willing to work for your money.

the only thing i have to add is that you should fill out an application even if they AREN'T HIRING! you'd be surprised how quickly people go through there and they're willing to accept almost anybody.

also your application is valid for 30 or 60 days so if you don't get hired then re-apply.

good luck

Go in, ask for the manager and then introduce yourself politely and professionally and ask them if they are doing any hiring. If they say yes, ask for an application. When you look at the application, it asks ou if you want full or part time. It also asks how long you plan on working there and that sort of thing. I was a manager at McDonald's. A certified one at that, meaning, I went to the schools and everything. I only made $7 an hour! I do not recommend working there. Make sure that you are always professional. Make sure that when you take in the application, after filling it out, that you don't do it during their rushes. Which are usually from about 6:30-7:30am, 12-1 pm, 3-5pm and then the dinner rushes change. Depends on the weather, also. When you bring it back, give it to the manager. If they need part time, they'll call you and set up an interview. Good Luck!

I am ashamed to say that once or twice a week, I stop on the way home from work and pick up our dinner. I work till 6 or 6:30 and by that time, some nights it takes too long to wait for dinner. We like KFC, Taco Bell, McDonalds and sometimes pizza. The fast food thing is expensive after awhile, not to mention, very unhealthy. We hate Burger King. It always makes us sick. Sonic keeps us belching. We are not overweight, we're active.

all you gotta do is walk up to the front counter and ask for the manager. then ask if they have part time positions open. i worked at mcdonalds for a year and a half and they were very flexible with my scheduling. you don't have to make an appointment or anything. just show up how you are...oh and smile a lot!

No appointment necessary but be prepared to interview by having all your information ready (dates, names, addresses, phone numbers) of employers and personal references. Dress nicely. Act professionally. Just go from place to place filling out applications whether they are hiring or not.

Just ask someone behind the counter if you can see the Manager, or if there are any vacancies

Ask if they are hiring. And if you want you can fill out an application usually on the spot (regardless of if they are hiring at the moment)

Just ask if they are hiring? You will be amazed how easy it is to just ask for what you want. The worst thing they can say is NO. Good luck.
