i am working at a new caffe that is making espresso the right way with the right beans. my question is would u rather have poor quality coffee, with the burnt milk foam on top, in a large volume? Or good coffee made like in italy with creamy milk foam, but less volume? I'm just trying to see what the market will be like.

the burnt foam thing might just be here, most places are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for employes.

I do not like Starbucks, the beans taste burnt...I do love Italian espresso, i have been able to get Kinko...Please, please if you have another brand i could buy or a brand name and where to buy it, drop me a line. Its hard to find good Italian coffee....This Italian needs the real stuff...

What you describe doesn't sound like Starbucks. I know the trainng program they send their employees through and it doesn't result in burnt foam. I like Starbucks because they are consistent. I would say that their beans are over roasted but otherwise I think they are among the better. A lot of independent places don't care or don't know about saving shots, consistent volume in the syrup, steaming milk to the right temperature, tamping the beans, etc.
So yeah, I like Starbucks because they are the only place I can go and receive a drink made well consistently.

I like there hot chocolate, but i don't drink coffee or tea. I liked the idea of using cream instead of foam, which i have never had before. Sadly i only had it on holidays once because were i live, they don't have a starbucks.

I like a good latte in the morning and will go anywhere convenient -- just happens that there's more convenient Starbuck's than any other coffee place around me.

I love starbucks......there's even one in the store I work in. Nobody's ever burnt my milk though, that's very strange.

I dont like starbucks... I like their frappaccinos, thats about it.
I perfer dunkin donuts french vanilla coffee

I don't like coffee in general, but I've had their tea and I didn't really like that either.

well...you can try both, but i would rather have good coffee. if you have bad coffee, that taste is in your mouth, and you probably wouldn't drink it all 'cause it's yucky. good coffee is good so you probably would, and you would be awakened
