your taking microbio hu? well good luck. H2O2 doesn't damage cells but it does kill bacteria that can't stand too much oxygen.

Like others have already said H2O2 is highly volatile but it is extremely rear in nature as far as I know it only occurs naturally in mountain streams as they are affected by sunlight and in lactating milk! It can have Meany uses I have read medical papers that have suggested that it can be administered intravenously to cure all sorts of illness is including arthritis and some cancers! It can all so be used to make explosives! The submarine the cursk blew up because the rushens use h2o2 as a torpedo propellant and some leaked on to Cooper and brass fittings causing a build up of hydrogen gas in a confined space then Bang!!!

I have been a nurse for almost 25 yrs. and MUST say that H2O2 works well in cleaning blood and debriding tissue from a fresh wound. It should NEVER be used to clean out a wound that is over 24hrs old...!!! H2O2 actually DESTROYS newly formed collagen tissues (on a microscopic level) that are needed in wound healing. The prolonged, repeated use of Hydrogen Peroxide actually SLOWS wound healing...!!!

Hidrogen peroxide does harm because is a very unstable molecule taht can easily liberate free oxygen radical, causgina a chain recation within the cell membrane and other organelles.

hydrogen peroxide in it's pure state is highly volatile, or highly reactive, it's as good as hydrochloric acid in some ways.
As far as catalyst go just google it.
